Therapy swimming is intended for children and adolescents with moderate to severe impairment from the age of 4-5 years. It should - depending on the individual possibilities - with adapted exercises to maintain or improve the physical flexibility and / or delays in the development or implementation of learning processes while swimming are compensated. Therapy swimming is performed as a single, dual or group therapy. If an absorption of costs is requested, it is possible to issue a course report and corresponding certificates (with costs). The acceptance of swimming badges is, as far as the physical impairments allow the fulfillment of the requirements, in principle possible. The performance requirements of the DSV do not allow (unfortunately) any relief in the badge acceptance. Further information about the swimming pools and their availability can be found HERE . Before making a booking, a detailed (possibly even telephonic) preliminary discussion on the kind and extent of the impairment as well as any other health restrictions may be required. If you want to book a course online (we recommend a previous course reservation) you will need a personal booking code, which you will receive after the preliminary talk. Book the course online, just click on the course you want. You will then be taken to our booking form (the personal booking code is mandatory). The bar below the course information gives you information about vacancies. Please note thatreserved spaces can be booked even if the scale says that there are no more seats available(scale on red). Information to the number of participants of a course you can find under COURSE SIZE . Single and dual therapies can not be booked online. This is only possible in our office!
